The third episode of the Washington occult-noir audio drama takes the case to the city morgue, and to a confidant with answers Torsten may not want
WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Episode 3 of Dupont Investigations, Flight of the Fallen, is streaming now everywhere you listen to podcasts. With the winged thing still loose in the capital, occult private investigator Torsten Somersby and his partner Nigel Clemmons trade the parlors of the wealthy for the city morgue, where a body raises far more questions than it answers.
As the oddities mount, Torsten seeks out an old confidant, Rowena Nesbit, hoping her counsel can make sense of what the daylight will not. The visit ends the moment a face no one can explain appears at the window, and the trail of “the fallen” turns colder and stranger than either investigator expected.
“Episode 3 is for the sleuths,” said Marc Benjamin Langston, Dupont Investigations co-creator and showrunner. “I enjoyed writing the scenes at the morgue and in Rowena Nesbit’s library, as they reveal all the major clues regarding what they face. Leaving breadcrumbs is the most fun I have as a writer.”
New listeners can start anywhere. Season 1, The Scourge from Carthage, runs six episodes, and Season 2 has been streaming since its September 1 premiere. Flight of the Fallen runs six episodes, with new installments every other Tuesday through the November 10 finale.
